Spatial Audio in Modern Horror Films

This project explores how advanced spatial audio technologies, such as Dolby Atmos, influence audience perception, immersion, and emotional response in contemporary horror cinema. Through a combination of experimental design and participant feedback, the research investigates how object oriented spatial audio (Dolby Atmos) heightens fear, suspense, and engagement compared to traditional audio formats.
